I am 100% convinced these are *not* coincidences and are deliberate behaviors. In the case of TE's cracked exe, after a while (could be weeks, could be months, I haven't figured out pattern or reason why) you might have the misfortune of your mirc.ini completely resetting! So advice for all people out there back up your mirc.ini if you spent a lot of time setting mirc how you like it. There is only one connection to be established and that is to irc server. Some, like TE's cracked exe seem to work good for weeks or longer, but sometimes (and this goes for other cracked exes too) mirc client pops up my firewall for trying to connect to IPs (usually some IPs in Amsterdam for me) for no reason. What happens is they all seem to work but then after a while (maybe couple of hours maybe less) and restarting client, some cracks / patches ask for registration again (which passes again but it is annoying). Not xenocoder's patch, not TE's cracked exe, not some other exes. I haven't tried suggested patches on v7.44 (will do in a minute) but let me tell you something from past experience, I haven't seen *proper* patch or cracked exe in a long while.
